TAS meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along. You do not need to be a member to attend. The are informal, and have no set rules.

The membership fee, once paid, entitles the member to the following benefits:
• Insurance cover for special and/or limited TAS events
• These include private events on the TAS Observatory Site
• Reduction on magazine price
• Free use of the society library filled with books and magazines
• Free use of either the clubs 6 inch or 12 inch reflector telescopes (subject to availability!)
• Free astronomical handouts and CD's
• When possible, a price reduction on daytrips etc.
The current 2008 membership fee is:
| 1 Year (From Jan 1st): |
Full - €30
Family (2+ members) €50 |
| Half-term (from June 1st): |
Full - €15
Family (2+ members) €25 |
Memberships are on or as soon as possible after the January AGM, and last for that year until December. Late term rates will be calculated for new members on their arrival.

Don't be fooled by what you see here - the 2008 Committee largely is unchanged from 2007!

TAS is always looking for new members to take part on our committee. It is not all work, and co-operation is key. If you're interested, then why not come along to our next meeting in person?
