About MAC

MAC meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along. You do not need to be a member to attend. The are informal, and have no set rules.

TAS Membership

The membership fee, once paid, entitles the member to the following benefits:

• Insurance cover for special and/or limited MAC events
• These include private events on the MAC Observatory Site
• Reduction on magazine price
• Free use of the society library filled with books and magazines
•Free use of either the clubs 6 inch or 12 inch reflector telescopes (subject to availability!)
• Free astronomical handouts and CD's
• When possible, a price reduction on daytrips etc.

The current 2009 membership fee is:

1 Year (From Jan 1st): Full - €35
Family (2+ members) €50
Half-term (from June 1st): Full - €20
Family (2+ members) €25

Memberships are on or as soon as possible after the January AGM, and last for that year until December. Late term rates will be calculated for new members on their arrival.
