Air-powered Rocket Launches

MAC member (and Engineer) Bob Campbell has constructed a pressurised air platform to act as a launch pad for up to 4 rockets! Building your rocket is easy: you just need an empty pop bottle (the 1.5 litre to 2.5 litre kind) and get creative!

The bottle neck is the 'exhaust', so your rocket has to be built upside-down. This event will take place during the lunch break on Saturday afternoon from around 1:45pm and is open to all visitors to COSMOS, young and old.

Come to our workshop with Deirdre Kelleghan on Saturday from 11am and build your own rocket!
