OUR 2012 LECTURES CALENDAR WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE HERE SOON!

Lectures for 2011

Every year, the Midlands Astronomy Club hosts a series of lectures and classes in various topics of Astronomy and allied subjects. These occur on the first Tuesday of each month, and are held in the Presbyterian Hall or Church at the top of High Street in Tullamore at 8:00pm. MAC also invites speakers from around Ireland to host their own lecture. Anyone can give a lecture, its not just left to MAC (committee) members to do it!

ON THE NIGHT...
Members of the public are very welcome to attend. Admission is €2.00 with a ticket given for a raffle on the night to win a prize, which can be astronomy books to posters to eyepieces and more.

MAC is always looking for and encouraging people to give a talk. You can contact any committee member to find out more information if you would like to give one!
