Lectures Calendar

Every year, Midlands Astronomy Club host a series of lectures and classes in various topics of Astronomy and allied subjects. Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of each month, and are held in the Charleville Centre, Church Road in Tullamore from 8:00pm. MAC also invites speakers from around Ireland to host their own lecture. Anyone can give a lecture, its not just left to MAC (committee) members to do it!

On The Night
Members of the public are very welcome to attend. Admission is €2.00 (Club members are free). Handouts are given for that month's SkyMaps and our Librarian (Adrian Waters) is on hand to let out books and binoculars from the library (onsite).

MAC is always looking for and encouraging people to give a talk. You can contact any committee member to find out more information if you would like to give one!
